Job Description
The mission of the Ventra Data Analytics and Automation team is to partner closely with internal business units to provide intelligent tools for data-driven decision-making. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be heavily involved in data reporting, statistical analysis, and operational automation. Your core responsibility will involve validating fully automated financial reports to ensure total data accuracy while manually generating reports that are yet to be automated within the system.
This internship is heavily focused on accelerated technical learning and high-level execution. You will have the unique opportunity to learn Python on the job and immediately apply it to automate manual reporting sequences. Ventra encourages strong critical thinking; therefore, you will be expected to analyze existing reporting workflows and proactively suggest process improvements. You will take true ownership of your projects while remaining flexible in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Meticulously validate and audit fully automated and semi-automated business reports for data accuracy.
Manually extract, compile, and generate critical revenue reports which are not yet fully automated.
Proactively learn advanced Python on the job and apply it to live production projects.
Write and execute Python scripts to automate previously manual reporting and data extraction tasks.
Utilize SQL and advanced Excel (including Pivot Tables) to manage raw healthcare financial datasets.
Take total ownership of assigned project deliverables, communicating daily with internal business stakeholders.
Execute strong critical thinking to actively suggest optimizations and process improvements.
Maintain absolute flexibility to tackle any project task required—whether it is data validation, automation coding, or manual generation.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Candidates must be in their final year or a fresh graduate .
Technical Must-Haves: Solid basic mathematical skills paired with foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, and Excel .
Bonus Assets (Good to Have): Successful completion of academic projects, bootcamp courses, or certifications focused explicitly on Data Analytics or Python automation.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional critical thinking capabilities with an absolute hunger to learn, ask questions, and grow professionally.
Communication: Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact tactfully with diverse business units.
