Job Description

As an Information Security Intern at ShopBack, your adventure ahead will involve critical, hands-on exposure to protecting the platform’s vast digital infrastructure. Your primary focus will be performing routine information security tasks, ranging from executing source code scans to tracking down and analyzing potential security incidents. You will also conduct website vulnerability scanning to ensure a seamless and safe experience for over 60 million shoppers.

Vulnerability Management: Perform routine information security tasks, including regular source code scanning and comprehensive website vulnerability scanning.
Incident Tracking: Monitor, deeply analyze, and carefully track all potential security incidents to mitigate risks swiftly.
Documentation: Create, maintain, and revise detailed technical documents relating to security protocols and infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Support: Handle assigned tasks, assist in various departmental activities, and support senior engineers on other security-related matters.

Education: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an information-related discipline (applicants from all universities are welcome to apply).
Experience: Possess relevant work experience, internship background, or relevant cybersecurity certifications.
Preferred Knowledge: Experience or foundational understanding in Web or App development, script automation, server/network management, and network security.
Commitment: Must be able to commit to a minimum period of 6 months on a full-time basis.
