Job Description
For the Siemens Healthineers Internship 2026 drive, the engineering team is looking for a Technical Intern to support development, testing, and technical activities across various innovative projects. This role is perfectly suited for an early-career professional looking to build a robust foundation in software engineering.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and defect analysis. Note: This internship requires working from the office five days a week to enable close collaboration, faster learning, and hands-on support.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Intern at Siemens Healthineers, your key responsibilities will include:
Software Development: Assist in the design, development, testing, and debugging of robust software components.
Coding Standards: Write clean, well-structured, and highly maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers.
Quality Assurance: Support the verification, validation, and documentation of new features and software fixes. Follow strict software quality, security, and compliance processes.
Troubleshooting: Help analyze complex defects, system logs, and overall system behavior to accurately identify root causes.
Tools & Collaboration: Learn and effectively use modern development tools, version control systems, and build systems. Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions to meet delivery milestones.

To be eligible for the Siemens Healthineers Internship 2026, candidates must strictly meet the following criteria:
Educational Background: Must be pursuing or have recently completed a degree (B.E/B.Tech/BSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Experience Level: Freshers and current students.
Required Technical Competencies:Basic, foundational knowledge of at least one major programming language (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Python).A solid understanding of software development fundamentals and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Familiarity with Windows or other standard software development environments.
