As an Associate DevOps Engineer at HealthEdge, your daily duties will include:
CI/CD Pipelines: Support the overall maintenance and improvement of internal CI/CD pipelines utilizing TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or similar industry tools.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Assist with provisioning, orchestrating, and managing cloud infrastructure environments (AWS preferred) using modern IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
System Monitoring: Regularly monitor system health, respond actively to alerts, and participate in technical on-call rotations alongside senior support engineers.
Containerization: Containerize software applications and systematically assist with Kubernetes or Docker Compose deployments.
Automation Scripting: Write, debug, and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar programming scripts to reduce repetitive tasks.
Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with development groups to improve deployment workflows, and actively contribute to operational runbooks, infrastructure diagrams, and incident postmortems.
Skills & Eligibility
0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or systems/infrastructure engineering role (relevant internship experience counts toward this total).
Foundational understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration practices.
Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS is highly preferred).
Basic experience using version control systems, specifically Git.
Prior exposure to containerization technologies like Docker.
Comfortable writing fundamental scripts to automate administrative tasks.
Exposure to Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration layers.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
Familiarity with automated configuration management utilities such as Ansible.
Active cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals).
A clear understanding of core networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
Strong curiosity and absolute eagerness to learn within a fast-moving infrastructure environment.
Good communication skills, with the comfort level to ask questions and flag execution blockers early.
A methodical, structured troubleshooting approach to technical anomalies.
