Job Description

As an Associate Software / Platform Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in supporting scalable AI use cases. Your responsibilities will include:
Development: Develop and integrate Python-based components for AI use cases following established designs and best practices.
AI/ML Workflows: Support machine learning workflows, including data preparation, model integration, and API-based consumption.
RAG Pipelines: Implement and support RAG-based pipelines, gaining an understanding of LLMs, chunking strategies, embeddings, and vector retrieval under guidance.
Collaboration: Work closely with Senior AI Engineers to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable AI solutions.
Deployment: Assist in the testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment of AI-enabled applications.
Continuous Learning: Learn and apply cloud, AI, and software engineering best practices through hands-on project work and mentorship.

Educational Qualification: Must hold a B.E or B.Tech degree.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of strong programming skills and software development fundamentals.
Core Tech Skill: Strong proficiency in Python programming.
AI/ML Knowledge: Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and applied AI use cases.
System Design: Familiarity with REST APIs, data handling, and modular code design.
Cloud Exposure: Exposure to cloud platforms and modern development tools paired with a strong learning mindset.
Profile Summary: MetLife is seeking Software Developers with strong Python skills to support the implementation of scalable AI use cases using an enterprise AI platform.
