QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
Job Description
The Technology Internship Program is a prestigious initiative for college students who possess a drive for excellence and a deep passion for technology. As an Engineering Intern, you will be immersed in real-life, business-critical assignments focusing on mechanical designs, subsystem analysis, and advanced testing. Under the strict guidance of assigned mentors, you will execute projects spanning mechanical structures, IC engines, hybrid power plants, and vehicle dynamics.
You will apply core engineering principles such as Design for Manufacturing, Assembly & Service (DFMAS), Design for Reliability (DFR), and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS). Utilizing in-house test labs and advanced simulation tools (like Ansys, ADAMS, and Fluent), you will validate designs, perform stress analysis, optimize engine performance for fuel efficiency, and conduct robust root-cause analyses on mechatronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on mechanical designs and subsystem evaluations under the guidance of assigned technical mentors.
Carry out stress analysis, vehicle dynamics, and thermo-mechanical design for complex transit systems.
Apply DFMAS, DFR, and DFSS principles to ensure robust, reliable, and manufacturable product designs.
Utilize advanced CAE design tools such as Ansys, ADAMS, GT Power, FEMFAT, and Fluent .
Conduct performance optimization for power, emissions, and fuel consumption on multi-fuel engine systems.
Utilize in-house test labs for fatigue, combustion, and material characterization to validate structural designs.
Collaborate dynamically with cross-functional teams to propose and implement new analysis methodologies.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a proven, strong academic track record. Open to pre-final and final-year students.
Engineering Stream: Mechanical, Aerospace , or allied engineering streams.
Specialization Background: Strong academic background in Structures, Dynamics, Thermal / Fluid Systems, IC Engines, Tribology, Material Science, Manufacturing, or Testing & Validation.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with structural analysis, fluid dynamics, and modern CAD/CAE simulation software.
