Job Description

As a Network Engineer at Razorpay, you will manage, operate, and support our critical enterprise network infrastructure. Your role is highly technical, requiring deep expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs) and Cisco Nexus switches (VPCs, VLANs, routing). You will be the primary lead for the Cisco Meraki ecosystem, handling dashboard administration, wireless optimization, and architectural fine-tuning to ensure seamless connectivity for over 3,000 “Razors.”
Security is at the core of our fintech stack. You will support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZTNA solutions, managing policy configurations and troubleshooting user connectivity. You will proactively monitor network performance, handle incidents via ITIL-based ticketing systems, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical issues. This role involves participating in major migrations and technology upgrades, requiring a customer-centric mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Configure and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls , including HA and security profiles.
Support Cisco Nexus environment, handling OS upgrades and advanced routing.
Manage Cisco Meraki switches and APs, focusing on wireless optimization.
Administer Zscaler (ZIA) and ZTNA policies to ensure Zero Trust security.
Proactively monitor network health and performance using standard monitoring tools.
Manage service requests and incident tickets adhering to strict SLAs.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive technical actions.
Create and maintain high-quality network documentation, SOPs, and diagrams.
Collaborate with vendors and partners for continuous infrastructure improvement.

Palo Alto (Mandatory): Extensive experience in firewall operations and upgrades.
Cisco Nexus (Mandatory): Deep knowledge of VPC, VLANs, and data center switching.
Cisco Meraki (Mandatory): Hands-on experience with dashboard and wireless fine-tuning.
Security: Strong understanding of ZTNA and Zscaler solutions.
Networking: Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and routing/switching concepts.
Operations: Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational ticketing systems.
Preferred: Certifications like CCNP, PCNSE, or Meraki ; Cloud networking (AWS/Azure) knowledge.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills and a strong ownership mindset.
