Job Description

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee focusing on OT (Operational Technology) Security , you will work at the intersection of industrial engineering and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for supporting the security of critical infrastructure systems, such as those used in energy and water management. Under the mentorship of senior consultants, you will perform versatile tasks for international clients, ensuring that industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA networks are resilient against modern threats.
You will work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with a highly professional global team. Your role involves technical documentation, vulnerability assessments, and supporting the implementation of security standards across diverse engineering projects. Support the design and implementation of security controls for OT environments.
Assist in technical assessments of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA.
Collaborate with international colleagues to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.
Maintain and update technical documentation and security runbooks.
Take ownership of specific project areas under the guidance of senior engineers.
Stay updated on the latest standards in OT security and industrial automation.
Contribute to professional sparring sessions and client meetings.
Participate in Ramboll’s structured training and development programs.

Education: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Science.
Technical Interest: A foundational passion for OT security, industrial networks, or cybersecurity.
Analytical: Strong problem-solving skills and a technical mindset.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Mindset: Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
Availability: Ready to join the Chennai office on a full-time basis.
Documents: Ability to showcase academic projects or certifications related to security or engineering.
