Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT streaming workflows.
  • Develop, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries, relational stored procedures, and structural database objects.
  • Build and manage cloud-based data solutions utilizing the Snowflake data cloud and Databricks environments.
  • Develop clean, maintainable data processing and automation scripts using Python.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues promptly to guarantee total data quality, reliability, and low uptime lag.
  • Collaborate actively with business analysts, stakeholders, and sister engineering squads to capture data requirements.
  • Support structural data validation, comprehensive testing, and database platform performance optimization routines.
  • Document technical architectural designs, pipeline data flows, and configuration schemas.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in production software development or structural data engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard SQL and relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts.
  • Hands-on experience or practical internship exposure working within the Snowflake environment.
  • Familiarity with Databricks and distributed computing concepts like Apache Spark.
  • Proficiency in using Python for structured data parsing, extraction, and script automation.
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts, schemas (Star/Snowflake), and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Prior experience developing business dashboards and metric reports with Power BI.
  • Exposure to hyperscaler cloud environments like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with Git version control trees and automated CI/CD practices.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint planning cycles.
