Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the CISCO engineering wing, your daily contribution will directly impact cross-functional features and systems infrastructure:
  • Feature Execution: Collaborate closely with your immediate team to design, build, and deploy small-to-medium software features from initial technical scoping through to final launch.
  • Agile Practices: Apply complete understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and execute agile methodologies including requirements analysis, test planning, design creation, and unit testing.
  • Code Cleanliness: Write robust, functional, and exceptionally clean source code alongside writing comprehensive Unit Tests and End-to-End (E2E) testing suites.
  • Peer Support: Participate actively in systematic code review sessions, addressing automated feedback, and assisting peers in maintaining architectural consistency.
  • Incident Response: Monitor system logs, triage runtime incident reports, participate in group engineering postmortems, and join team on-call operational routines as needed.
  • Task Planning: Provide realistic time estimates for assigned engineering modules while proactively communicating delivery status, delays, or architectural blockers.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Educational Background: Graduation or Post-Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or closely associated engineering streams. Academic coursework or internships reflecting current industry technology trends is heavily valued.
  • Practical experience or personal development repositories showing backend systems development using Go (Golang), Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
  • Basic understanding of database schemas, microservices, and modern cloud deployment environments.
