Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will support routine engineering and operational activities under established procedures and guidance from senior engineers.
- Implement well-defined scripts and procedures to support service reliability and availability.
- Contribute to routine code updates.
- Participate in peer reviews as part of the software development process.
- Monitor service performance and assist with incident response.
- Collaborate with team members and learn from experienced engineers.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
- Address basic incidents and escalate complex issues when required.
- Assist with post-incident reviews.
- Document incident findings and contribute to incremental improvements.
- Maintain and enhance systems according to established procedures.
- Support ongoing system health and operational stability.
Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and the role is intended for candidates with 0–1 years of experience .
- The position is designed for early-career engineers who are building their skills in software and systems engineering. Candidates should have exposure to programming, system design, testing, deployment and reliability concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms, scripting languages, automation tools and IT service management is listed as preferred technical and professional experience.
- The position requires a foundation in software engineering and systems reliability.
- Software Engineering: Understanding of how reliable and resilient software systems are designed, built and maintained.
- Systems Engineering: Basic understanding of system components and operational environments.
- Problem Analysis: Ability to investigate technical problems and identify appropriate solutions.
- System Design: Exposure to system design and architecture concepts.
- Testing: Understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Deployment: Familiarity with software deployment practices.
- Reliability: Understanding of reliability and resiliency principles.
- Cloud Computing: Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-based systems.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages and automation tools is useful.
- IT Service Management: Basic knowledge of service management principles.
