Key Responsibilities
- As an Associate Software Engineer / DevOps Engineer, you will maintain, optimize, and build operational marketing database solutions on Microsoft SQL Server and cloud infrastructure. You will work within a cross-disciplinary 24×7 production support team overseeing automated workflows and data flow debugging.
- Monitor and debug automated scheduled jobs and operational ETL pipelines.
- Write and maintain basic to intermediate SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis and extraction.
- Analyze and debug complex ETL data flows and maintain data mart extraction processes.
- Perform unit-level quality assurance, data testing, and validation checks.
- Create and maintain user guides and technical documentation for database operations.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including IT leads, global development teams, and clients.
- Provide 24×7 operational coverage in rotational shifts including weekend support as required by client time zones.

Skills & Eligibility
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant technical domain.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in software engineering, database operations, or DevOps.
- Location Restriction: Candidates must be based in or near Mumbai / Thane (specifically accessible to Thane Ashar IT Park).
- Database: Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server architecture and SQL queries.
- Scripting: Basic knowledge of Python and SQL scripting.
- General: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on Python scripting experience for automation.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or cloud data platforms like Snowflake and AWS Redshift.
- Familiarity with automation schedule tools like Cisco Tidal.
- Experience working with JIRA and client-facing communication.
