Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering and technical activities in the areas of Materials, Process & Physics for various Boeing Programs.
  • Review Boeing Drawings, part lists, process specifications, substitution lists, and determine the Engineering requirements in the area of Materials, Process & Physics.
  • Evaluate various Industry specifications for materials and suggest alternates to Boeing specifications.
  • Provide Technical guidance to Boeing suppliers in the area of structural Assembly & machining as required.
  • Evaluate and test emerging technologies in the area of structural Assembly & machining for potential application to business needs.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, Chemical Engineering and Aerospace), or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree with typically 1-3 years related work experience. Master’s degree preferred but not a requirement.
  • 1+ year of shop floor experience in Assembly / machining / finishes / preferably in an aerospace Company.
  • 1+ year of experience in reviewing Engineering drawing, process specification.
  • Ability to communicate with suppliers and provide technical support by responding to their queries during on-site visits.
  • Exposure to Boeing specifications (D documents, BACs, BSSs, BMS) and understanding how to navigate them is highly desired.
