As an Associate Engineer at Unisys, you will work alongside experienced software engineering teams to design, build, test, and maintain core software components. You will apply Agile development methodologies and secure software engineering standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
Serve as an active engineering team member tasked with developing, improving, and delivering product or system features.
Develop robust software components and write unit and integration test cases to ensure optimal code path coverage.
Identify, script, and automate manual operational and engineering tasks.
Evaluate, debug, and resolve incoming bug submissions and technical defects.
Incorporate secure coding practices and security guidelines during software development.
Collaborate with senior software engineers to conduct performance testing, analyze system bottlenecks, and resolve uncovered performance issues.
Learn and strictly adhere to industry-standard software engineering policies and guidelines.

Skills & Eligibility
Education: BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent quantitative discipline.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant software development experience or equivalent combination of education and internships.
Familiarity with core Software Engineering principles, object-oriented concepts, and Agile methodologies.
Basic knowledge of software development languages (e.g., C++, Java, C#, or Python) and web technologies.
Understanding of software testing, unit testing frameworks, and debugging techniques.
Awareness of secure coding practices and automated task scripting.
Strong logical reasoning, analytical problem-solving skills, and good communication skills.
