Job Description
As a Java Backend Engineer at Tarento, you will be part of a team dedicated to designing and developing robust server-side applications. Under the mentorship of senior developers, you will write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code. Your role involves building and consuming RESTful APIs that power enterprise-level platforms. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot .
Write clean, documented, and production-grade code.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Participate in team discussions and peer code reviews to improve quality.
Debug technical issues and troubleshoot backend workflows.
Manage data persistence using SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Support unit testing and QA cycles to ensure software reliability.
Collaborate with DevOps teams for smooth deployment cycles.
Stay updated with modern Java frameworks and industry best practices.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
Java: Strong foundational knowledge of Core Java and OOPs concepts.
Foundations: Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.
Databases: Familiarity with SQL and relational database management.
Web Services: Basic understanding of REST APIs and web architecture.
Tools: Knowledge of version control systems like Git .
Projects: Prior internship or academic project experience in Java development.
Nice to Have: Exposure to Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle , or JavaScript.
