As a Software Development Engineer – I (SDE-I) at Rupeek, you will be responsible for building robust backend services, scalable consumer applications, and high-performance financial API integrations. You will work directly with product managers and senior engineering leads to design technology stack solutions that power instant financial lending systems.
Design, develop, test, and deploy clean, maintainable, and high-performing software components.
Build resilient microservices and RESTful API endpoints for fintech products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Quality Assurance to deliver end-to-end user features.
Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit tests, and maintain software documentation.
Diagnose and troubleshoot application bugs, optimize query performance, and ensure software stability.
Follow modern DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Skills & Eligibility
Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent branch.
Experience: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), and system design fundamentals.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, Golang, or Node.js .
Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL data stores (MongoDB, Redis).
Good understanding of Git version control, REST architecture, and continuous integration pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and a desire to build solutions in the fintech domain.
