Key Responsibilities

  • As a Core Java Application Engineer, you will work as an individual contributor delivering key engineering products in line with customer priority maps:
  • Full-Stack Application Development: Evaluating business specifications to map out, develop, upgrade, and deploy highly scalable application layers across the Windows software infrastructure.
  • Maintainable Code Construction: Authoring highly reliable, scalable, efficient, and well-commented source scripts adhering strictly to global development benchmarks.
  • Verification & Validation: Designing complete unit tests, ensuring robust verification pipelines, and executing structural bug debugging sequences to iron out system anomalies.
  • Technical Documentation: Compiling architecture manuals, functional flow diagrams, design handbooks, and system maps to ensure code longevity and proper transfer of engineering knowledge.
  • Continuous Adaptation: Eagerness to proactively follow a mindset of continuous personal development—constantly learning, unlearning obsolete mechanisms, and re-learning modernized framework updates.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Candidates eager to step into the application lifecycle at QuEST Global must demonstrate the core competencies, programming background, and foundational attributes detailed below:
  • Educational Background: Must possess a valid, full-time Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Core Java Foundations: Deep technical mastery over Java programming principles, explicitly including Collections frameworks, iterative logic pathways, tree structures, and multi-tier data structure traversals.
  • Object-Oriented Architecture: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies, object lifecycle mapping, interface-driven design, and common structural design patterns.
  • Algorithm Engineering: Strong competency in constructing, refining, and optimizing algorithmic frameworks written in Java to maintain fast execution and small memory footprints.
  • Multithreading & Concurrency: Practical experience or knowledge regarding multi-threaded application processes, concurrent data structures, Inter-Process Communication (IPC), and structural thread debugging.
  • Advanced Networking & Communication protocols: Familiarity with modern communication channels and service calls such as RMI Services, gRPC architectures, and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
  • Testing & Code Analysis: Understanding of integrated unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit) alongside static code analysis tools to maintain continuous deployment standards.
  • Desired Framework Experience: Preliminary exposure to the Spring Boot ecosystem and specialized features introduced in Java 8 (Lambdas, Streams API, Functional Interfaces) will carry an advantage.
  • Domain Insights (Good to Have): Prior domain background or functional interest in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry stack is highly welcomed.
