Job Description

For the Pearson Recruitment 2026 drive, the IT team is looking for a Junior ServiceNow Analyst to support the day-to-day operation, quality assurance, and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform within the organization.
This entry-level position offers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise platform administration. Working closely with senior analysts, you will assist in platform configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment activities. You will also get exposure to modern IT practices, including Agile methodologies and cutting-edge AI features like ServiceNow AI agents and Now Assist.

As an Apprentice Software Engineer at Pearson, your key responsibilities will include:
Platform Support: Provide Level 1 support for products, applications, and processes on the ServiceNow platform.
Agile Development: Participate in the agile development process, learning to implement minor enhancements and defect fixes to improve platform functionality.
Reporting & Analytics: Create reports, metrics, and dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics and other reporting tools.
Platform Administration: Perform general tasks including Configuration Management Database (CMDB) maintenance, user access management, and system configurations.
Data Management: Monitor and support data imports and integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, collaborating with stakeholders to improve data quality.
Upgrades & Patching: Assist the team in semi-annual platform upgrades and quarterly patching activities to minimize disruption to business operations.

To be eligible for the Pearson Recruitment 2026, candidates must strictly meet the following criteria:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Data Science.
Experience Level: Recent graduates or candidates with strictly less than one year of professional experience.
Compliance: Must meet requirements under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and be officially registered on the NATS portal .
Required Core Competencies: Basic understanding of IT concepts, principles, and software development lifecycles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn the ServiceNow ecosystem. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
