As a Testing Analyst Intern, you will actively support the completion of system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing within strict release schedule deadlines. You will act as a key technical point of reference, executing both functional and non-functional tests to ensure all software and hardware environments are fit for purpose. You will proactively identify areas for improvement and escalate critical issues through the appropriate governance channels to ensure client-centric solutions.
Your day-to-day operations will involve analyzing testing requirements, reviewing project documentation to create comprehensive test plans, and managing test execution phases. You will build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, providing clear feedback and establishing momentum throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of testing projects, identifying deployment impacts and managing subsequent software changes.
Ensure test environments are fit for purpose by conducting initial smoke and sanity testing.
Understand, analyze, and map testing requirements alongside engineering colleagues.
Review project documents to assist in the creation of robust test plans, test schedules, and testing strategies.
Execute system integration, UAT, and regression testing to agreed timescales, cost, and quality standards.
Perform non-functional testing, including load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, and penetration testing.
Identify, escalate, and track software defects to ensure adequate resolutions or workarounds are deployed.
Skills & Eligibility
Education: Must be a BE / B.Tech / M.Tech graduate (Class of 2026).
Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in software testing. Practical experience in test design, planning, and execution is highly valued.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies.
Non-Functional Expertise: Experience or academic exposure to non-functional testing parameters (load, volume, security, penetration).
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex technical information from various sources.
Organization: Strong ability to plan, prioritize workflow, and manage time effectively under release deadlines.
