Key Responsibilities

  • In this exciting role within a feature team, your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Engineering software, scripts, and tools while seamlessly liaising with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
  • Rapidly producing complex and critical software of high quality that adds tangible value to the business.
  • Working within permanent teams responsible for the full software life cycle: from initial development and enhancements to maintenance and eventual decommissioning.
  • Collaborating actively to optimize NatWest Group’s software engineering capability.
  • Designing, producing, testing, and successfully implementing robust working software solutions.
  • Working across the end-to-end lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and daily operations.
  • Note: This role is based in India and all normal working days must be carried out from India.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Strictly requires a B.E/B.Tech degree.
  • A solid background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, with an understanding of how your expertise supports customers.
  • Working experience with ReactJS, SQL Server, and the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and enterprise collaboration environments.
  • Experience with application development lifecycle tools, including testing, debugging, and bug tracking platforms.
  • Experience across multiple programming languages or low-code platforms, effectively driving automation and efficiency.
  • Experience in implementing programming best practices—especially concerning scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.
