Job Description

As a Platform Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for building programmatic solutions that enhance our cloud infrastructure and developer productivity. You will work closely with Platform Engineering teams to develop automation solutions using Python and contribute to AI/ML/GenAI integration projects. Your role involves supporting “FinOps” initiatives—helping the organization achieve cost optimization in our cloud environments while ensuring reliable application performance through robust monitoring and observability efforts.
You will participate in the implementation of DevOps projects involving AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform . Beyond backend infrastructure, you will help build dashboard interfaces and visualization tools for platform metrics, with optional opportunities to contribute to UI development using React or JavaScript. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will engage in troubleshooting challenging problems and provide regular progress reports to senior team members, gaining hands-on experience in a modern cloud-native ecosystem.

Develop automation scripts using Python to implement cloud infrastructure solutions.
Contribute to projects integrating GenAI and AI/ML into infrastructure workflows.
Work with DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform on AWS.
Assist in monitoring efforts to ensure high availability and performance of services.
Build visualization dashboards for platform metrics and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Machine Learning and Finance teams on FinOps and cost optimization.
Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks in a robust and efficient manner.
Optionally contribute to frontend tasks using React or JavaScript .

Education: Completed or pursuing BA/BS in Computer Science or a technical field.
Programming: Strong skills in Python (preferred) or Golang with project work.
AI/ML: Practical understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to DevOps or software.
Cloud/DevOps: Basic knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform .
Frontend (Plus): Proficiency in JavaScript or React is a significant advantage.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Methodology: Familiarity with SAFe Agile frameworks and scientific problem-solving.
