Key Responsibilities

  • As a Software Engineer I in the GAA QRR team, you will assist senior analysts and engineers in supporting, building, enhancing, and maintaining SharePoint Online portals and Microsoft Power Platform tools.

  • Support the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform tools (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and SharePoint Forms).
  • Assist in building and managing workflow automations and business process workflows using Power Automate.
  • Perform solution troubleshooting, performance optimization, and integration with SharePoint lists, libraries, sites, and underlying data management components.
  • Participate actively in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) tasks, including test case creation, execution, defect logging, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) assistance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation for workflow architectures, application design blueprints, test scripts, user guides, and process changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders under senior guidance to gather functional requirements and deliver end-to-end automation projects.

Skills & Eligibility

  • Degree: Bachelor of Technology (B.E / B.Tech), Master of Science (M.Sc in Software Sciences or Information Systems), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent degree.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development or application support.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with SharePoint Online (lists, libraries, permissions, sites, and data management).
  • 1–3 years of development or support experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, SharePoint Forms).
  • 1–3 years of experience developing or supporting business workflows using Power Automate.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts.
  • Experience with front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Exposure to Application Programming Interface (API) services and REST integrations.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development utilizing JavaScript or React.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of relational database design, data structures, and data relationships.
  • Experience preparing test documentation, test cases, and tracking defect resolution.
