Job Description
- For the Dell Technologies Recruitment 2026 drive, the LabOps Team is looking for an analytical and proactive Technical Apprentice for a 12-month program. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training to manage specialized lab environments. You will assist the engineering department by keeping server infrastructures, deployment tools, and network routing configurations running smoothly.
- You will execute tasks ranging from operating system deployment to software-defined virtualization. As an apprentice, you will also act as a trusted advisor, coordinating with Sales, engineering, and Global Services colleagues to fulfill organizational validation and testing workflows effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Technical Apprentice at Dell Technologies, your key responsibilities will include:
- OS Deployment: Install Windows Operating System on standalone servers, along with handling specialized environments like Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX.
- Lab Configuration: Install, maintain, and configure specialized test setups and hardware infrastructure as required by the engineering design teams.
- Request Management: Address and troubleshoot daily lab validation tickets and resource requests raised by internal developers and engineering teams.
- Virtualization: Deploy and create stable Virtual Machines (VMs) within the unified VMware vCenter environment.
- Task Coordination: Follow up on departmental infrastructure activities, executing simple problem-solving routines under structural guidelines.
- Training Compliance: Attend all mandatory technical training modules and structural orientation programs scheduled by senior team leads.
Skills & Eligibility
- To be eligible for Dell Technologies Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent streams.
- Experience Level: 0 to 1 years of foundational technical experience. Freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Core Competencies:Basic knowledge of software engineering environments, including Windows and MS Office applications.Hands-on exposure or academic familiarity with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server and desktop environments.Foundational understanding of Linux operating system commands and directories.Exposure to core networking principles and basic TCP / IP troubleshooting protocols.
