Role Overview
We're hiring a Data Analyst Intern to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a great opportunity for students and fresh graduates who are passionate about turning raw data into actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Analyze large-scale transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and internal tools
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define key metrics and KPIs
- Create weekly/monthly reports for leadership with data-driven recommendations
- Automate repetitive data pipelines using Python scripts
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong fundamentals in SQL — ability to write joins, subqueries, window functions
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
- Experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills — ability to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Points
- Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools
- Prior internship in a data or analytics role
- Active Kaggle profile or data science projects on GitHub
