Job Description
As a Software Engineer I (Java/J2EE), you will join the core development team to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable Java-based applications. Working in an ‘Onsite’ capacity, you will collaborate closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional product teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and developing secure, scalable Java/J2EE-based web applications.
Write clean, efficient, and highly reusable Java code while adhering to best practices.
Utilize Spring / Hibernate frameworks for robust backend development.
Develop, expose, and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
Work with relational databases to execute complex queries and manage data operations.
Actively participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate efficiently with QA, frontend teams, and product managers.
Debug, troubleshoot, and swiftly resolve application errors and performance bottlenecks.
Skills & Eligibility
Core Java: Strong grasp of OOP concepts, collections framework, and exception handling.
J2EE Technologies: Solid basic knowledge of Servlets, JSP, and Web Services (REST APIs).
Frameworks: Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Database: Good understanding of SQL and RDBMS platforms like MySQL or Oracle.
Web Basics: Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Tools & Processes: Familiarity with Git/version control systems and SDLC workflows.
Note: Exposure to Microservices architecture, JUnit testing, Linux production environments, and cloud architectures will be considered a strong plus.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of Core Java, basic knowledge of J2EE (Servlets/JSP), REST APIs, Spring/Hibernate frameworks, and basic SQL.
