Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will support QA and test management activities across SAP and integrated applications.
- Support QA and Test Management teams in planning and executing testing activities.
- Perform manual, functional and regression testing based on requirements and test scenarios.
- Support retesting and User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Prepare, review, maintain and execute test cases.
- Document test evidence and test results clearly.
- Identify, log and track software defects.
- Retest defects after fixes and support defect closure.
- Use Jira to record defects with appropriate descriptions, screenshots, severity and priority.
- Use qTest to manage test cases and track test execution.
- Maintain defect status and support requirements-to-test-case traceability.
- Prepare test status reports and metrics using Excel.
- Coordinate with SAP and business teams during testing activities.
- Follow established QA standards and testing processes.
- Escalate risks, blockers and testing issues on time.
Skills & Eligibility
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- The position is suitable for fresh graduates as well as candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, SAP Testing or a related area.
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of software testing fundamentals and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- The role combines software quality assurance, manual testing, SAP testing and test management activities.
- Software Testing: Basic understanding of manual and functional testing.
- SDLC and STLC: Understanding of software and testing lifecycle concepts.
- Defect Lifecycle: Knowledge of identifying, logging, tracking, retesting and closing defects.
- Regression Testing: Ability to support regression and retesting activities.
- UAT: Basic understanding of User Acceptance Testing and business validation.
- Jira: Exposure to defect logging, tracking and workflow management.
- qTest: Basic exposure to test case management and execution tracking.
- Microsoft Excel: Ability to track testing activities, prepare reports and perform basic data analysis.
- SAP Testing: Basic understanding of SAP testing and enterprise application testing.
- Documentation: Ability to clearly document test cases, evidence, results and defects.
- Important skills include software testing, QA, SDLC, STLC, manual testing, defect management, Excel and documentation. Jira, qTest and SAP Testing knowledge are also relevant.
